Preconstruction

Operations
ATEK Field & Office professionals teams work closely with General Contractors and Owners throughout the project life-cycle. We have long-standing relationships with our General Contractors, as well as all of our sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring optimum project management workflows. Years of field experience coupled with ongoing technological upgrades lend itself to an effective marriage of office & field integration. ATEK field Foreman work off of digital documents utilizing platforms like Egnyte and Procore to access all current field related documents such as Plan Drawings, Submittals, RFI’s, ASI’s, and all Changes which allows for quick- access to all pertinent information relevant to their work. This maximizes efficiency in the field and invites a more cohesive and effective installation process.
Virtual Construction/BIM Modeling
Our BIM designers are skilled in Sheet Metal, Hydronic Piping, and Plumbing Systems and use state-of-the-art 3D software and BIM programs for coordination and fabrication. After the model is coordinated, we produce accurate shop drawings for responsible field personnel.
Fabrication Shop
ATEK headquarters is comprised of a 10,000+ square foot fabrication facility and supporting front office operations. Additional facilities provide general storage, product shipping and receiving, equipment storage, plus sheet metal and duct work inventory and production. We have earned a reputation for executing complex and fast-tracked projects, largely due to our ability to develop prefabrication solutions. Our modern, fully-equiped fabrication shop allows us to coordinate and deliver materials to projects just-in-time, which reduces time and excessive storage at the job site.

Commissioning/Performance Verification
Our mechanical engineers are LEED-certified, and can break down a project’s unique sequence of operations to perform thorough testing and verification for the scope of our work. This ensures that we meet industry codes and standards as the project progresses, in order to stay on-schedule and within budget.
HVAC Service & Start-Up
Our HVAC Service Technicians work alongside our construction teams and assist with construction equipment start-up for decentralized HVAC equipment, ductless split systems and more. They have the expertise to troubleshoot equipment failures, installation of temperature control systems, ensure all equipment is performing at its peak performance during the warranty period of the project, and perform planned maintenance.
